Velika Planina in Slovenia, Gouache on paper 14,8×21 cm
This was my first painting for the Wandering The World With Art project, a quite spontanious idea I had and started here.
Velika Planina is a settlement of 63 traditional herdsmen’s huts in the heart of the Kamnik Alps, between 1,500 and 1,666 metre high. In the winter you can go skiing there and in the summer it is perfect for hiking.
